Sponsor Saw Hsar Moo Kabaw

Hi, my name is Saw Hsar Moo Kabaw.

“Growing up, my father often worked on building projects, such as house renovations and repairs. He would have me help him, and I developed a strong interest in construction and invention. Tragically, my father passed away and I couldn’t continue my studies. I returned to my village and started working with a carpenter to build houses. I would pray, “God, I don’t know what I should become or what to do with my future. Please guide me and show me the path I should take.” I passed by a clinic operated by an Earth Mission PA program graduate. He needed engineering technicians for the clinic and the community and was sending young people to Earth Mission’s three-year engineering program. In that moment, I knew this was my calling. Upon completing the program, I will share the knowledge I gain with young people in my community. I believe that engineering is a team effort; to build strong and reliable infrastructure, we must work together.”

In Myanmar, just $6,000 sponsors an Earth Mission student’s collegiate-level education and cost of living for one year. After making your gift of $1,000 or more, we will pair you with your student and keep you updated as they master the knowledge and skills that will transform remote communities. Thank you for investing in the future of your student and their people!
